Lydia will be holding her next relaxing crystal workshops with Black Tourmaline as the focus for this season's piece of jewellery.
 
Black Tourmaline is one of the most powerful crystals for protection and the elimination of negative energies. It helps to absorb electromagnetic energy, as well as clearing, cleansing, purifying and unblocking any energy blockages within your body or space. It helps you to become grounded and feel secure.
This stone is ideal to work with at this time of year in a period of seasonal transition and the official end of the harvest season. Samhain is upon us and this marks the beginning of the cold and dark winter. Black Tourmaline can help us weave a web of protection aorund us and our loved ones, to see us through the winter.
 
BOOKING A TIME SLOT
 
These workshops will run for as long as there are crystals available. This month there are 17 crystals, so 17 sessions available.
 
The Black Tourmaline shards are all different lengths and shapes, they are chosen on a first come, first served basis so the sooner you have your session, the more choice you have.
 
You are purchasing a ticket, you will need to email me with the date & time request that you and/or your friends want to do the session, I will get back to you to confirm if this is available - contact@lydiadesigns.co.uk
 
The sessions run at two times, one morning (10:30am-12pm) and one afternoon (1:30pm - 3pm) session - a max of 4 people per session.
 
The sessions are running through October only:
Wk 1 - 1,2,3,4 & 5
Wk 2 - 8,9,10,11 & 12
Wk 3 - 15,16,17,18 & 19
Wk 4 - 22,23,24,25 & 26
 
There are so many dates & times available, you should get what you want, but if it is a Saturday booking then it advised you are quick to get in touch. Feel free to ask me before booking too, I am happy to check.

How does the session work?
You will be given the tools and materials you need to create a beautiful piece of jewellery. Lydia will talk you through everything you need to know and get you started and on your creative adventure.
 
There is nothing complex or fiddly for you to do in this workshop, just the meditative rhythm of beading. Lydia finishes the jewellery for you, adding on the clasp and ensuring it is at the correct the length for you to wear.
 
The beads are small glass delica and seed bead styles. These come in so many different colours, you will be able to choose up to 3 to work with to create a necklace tailored specifically for you.
 
The findings and accent beads are all sterling silver - included in the price. You can choose to upgrade to 14k gold fill, if you would rather. This will be paid for on the day as a £5 supplement.
 
Cafe Offer!
The amazing cafe at the Fold are offering a £6 voucher to use with them, on the day of your workshop. This is for the purchase of tea/coffee and their huge variety of cakes. You can choose to do this during or after your workshop with me, there is space on the table in my studio to craft and have drinks etc but if you would rather save it for when you are done, then you are wlecome to use this in the cafe and sit in there afterwards.
 
Where are you?
Held in my open studio in the courtyard, located near to the Cafe at The Fold, the table here is set for 4 crafters at one time. This workshop is perfect for friends and small groups or even if you want to create solo. The atmosphere is laid back, it is easy to feel relaxed in here. My front door has my Lydia Lotus Designs Logo on there, you can't miss it.
 
What to bring.
It is important that if you use glasses to read or focus on small things that crafters remember to bring glasses or anything else required to help them see something small, the beads and thread are very thin and delicate so this is a must for you to feel comfortable when threading.
 
Can we change or cancel the session?
Yes, You are able to change a session date or time, subject to availability. Please request any changes to be made within 48hrs of your session.
Please remember a workshop isn't booked until the ticket has been purchased so if you have checked availability and don't purchase the ticket then that doesn't mean the space has been held for you.
These workshops are limited to the amount of crystals available and are seasonal, I do not offer refunds for missed sessions.
Seasonal workshops mean they run only during the month they have been planned for, I am unable to hold them outside of the stated days, dates and times.
