At the heart of the Smoky Moon Talisman sits an exceptionally clear oval Smoky Quartz, its translucent smoky tones glowing against a handcrafted setting of sterling silver and warm 14k yellow gold fill.
There is something wonderfully lunar about this particular stone. Rather than feeling dark or heavy, its clarity allows the light to move through it, creating an almost moon-like glow that shifts as the pendant moves.
Strung amongst beautifully organic freshwater pearls and sparkling Herkimer Diamonds, this is a necklace that plays with contrasts — earth and light, grounding and clarity, softness and strength.
THE DESIGN
The oval Smoky Quartz is set into a sterling silver bezel and base, surrounded by a handcrafted 14k yellow gold-fill frame.
That line of gold beautifully draws out the natural warmth within the Smoky Quartz, while a small sterling silver Crescent Moon rests beneath the stone, adding a subtle piece of celestial symbolism to the setting.
The pendant is strung amongst wonderfully unusual fancy tubular freshwater pearls. Their elongated, organic forms give the necklace a beautifully fluid quality, with no two pearls quite the same.
Between them sit exceptionally clear Herkimer Diamonds, catching the light like tiny star drops amongst the pearls.
Finished entirely with 14k yellow gold-fill findings, the necklace is adjustable from 16–18 inches, allowing it to sit beautifully alone or layered with other pieces.
SMOKY QUARTZ
Smoky Quartz is traditionally associated with grounding, stability, resilience and release.
It is believed to help us let go of heavy or stagnant energy while keeping us connected to the present — particularly meaningful during periods of transition, when life can feel as though it is shifting beneath our feet.
