Welcome to Lydia Lotus Designs silversmithing workshops - run from her open studio at The Fold, Bransford, Worcestershire.
Want an alternative date? I can run this workshop from Tuesday - Saturday for 2-3 people. Please just email me contact@lydiadesigns.co.uk to book a date. Please note that you will need to secure the organised date within 24hrs of agreeing to it by purchasing the ticket here. You will just need to choose 'Alternative Date' for the date option.
If you choose an original date, one that is given below, then I will run this for 1-3 people. The alternative date is there if you have a group of 2-3 and want a date outside of the organised ones.
This workshop will take you through some of the basics of silversmithing to create your very own Spinner Ring
You will learn how to size your ring, solder, stamp, texture and finish it in sterling silver and then shape the wider band so that the spinning band in the centre doesn't slide off.There is a variety of textures for the wider band and different styles of wire for the included spinner band, so you canmake a very unique piece.
There will be an opportunity for you to add up to 3 rings that spin around the centre wider band if you would like. I have options in sterling silver or 14k gold fill. This will be subject to an additional supplement of £5 per silver band or £8 per gold fill one. Payment can be made on the day for this so you can decide then too. This is suitable for beginners.
The price of the workshop is £90 p/p.
This workshop is a run over 3hrs.
Please be on time for your workshop, I run other sessions too and unfortunately will not be able to extend your time.

How does the session work?
You will be given the tools and materials you need to create a beautiful piece of jewellery. Lydia will talk you through everything you need to know and get you started on your creative adventure.

Where are you?
Held in my open studio in the courtyard, located near to the Cafe at The Fold, the table here is set for 1-3 makers at one time. The atmosphere is laid back, it is easy to feel relaxed in here. My front door has my Lydia Lotus Designs Logo on there, you can't miss it.
What to bring.
It is important that if you use glasses to read or focus on small things that makers remember to bring glasses or anything else required to help them see something small.
Can we change or cancel the session?
Yes, You are able to change a session date or time, subject to availability. Please request any changes to be made within 2 weeks of your session. This will allow me to fill the spot.
These workshops are limited due to the timings specifically organised to run them, I do not offer refunds for missed sessions.
