At the centre of this one-of-a-kind ring sits a beautifully smooth drop-shaped Amethyst, its deep violet colour glowing against a handcrafted sterling silver setting.
Rather than polishing away every trace of the making process, the silver has been given a deliberately textured edge, creating an organic frame around the stone and giving the ring the character of a tiny, unearthed treasure.
The cool silver setting contrasts beautifully with a substantial 14k yellow gold-fill band, finished with tiny hand-stamped markings — little details that reveal themselves as the ring moves around the hand.
THE DESIGN
The Amethyst has been bezel set by hand in sterling silver, surrounded by an irregular textured border that follows and emphasises its soft drop shape.
The setting sits upon a warm 14k yellow gold-fill ring shank, bringing a beautiful richness to the violet tones within the gemstone.
Tiny motifs have been individually stamped into the gold band, adding another layer of texture and symbolism to a piece designed to feel unmistakably handmade.
